Day 24 Cody, Wy to Buffalo, Wy
Day 24 Ten Sleep, Wy to Buffalo, Wy 65 miles. This morning at 5:15 I heard mooing then right down the highway through Ten Sleep came a herd of cows. It was cool to watch the cowboys giving commands to the dogs and the dogs moved the the cows along. I had a hard climb up Powder River Pass. I started at around 4428 feet and topped out at 9666'. Then after the pass there was a series of 8 downhills followed by a uphill climb. Total I climbed over 6600'. The ride was beautiful, but very hard. I am once again staying in a tent site of a Rv park.
Wow, that looks like some great views. Thanks for the great narrative…Rodney
